The author, Gregg Killoren, holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and a law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.   He has more than 10 years’ experience as a legal and economic analyst in the financial industry, and spent two years as a staff attorney with the Illinois Appellate Court.  Killoren is a principal of Trafalgar Investment Advisers LLC, practices law in Illinois, and has contributed economic and legal analysis to the Banking Law Committee of the American Bar Association.  He has published several economic and legal articles and position papers with regard to the financial crisis and financial regulation.
